TIL that stopping my password reuse habit saved me a major scare
I switched to unique passwords for every site after a close call, and it's way less stressful than I expected (honestly). But some argue it's too much work to manage all those logins. How do you all handle this?

You're spot on about it being less stressful than expected. I got a warning about a data breach on some old forum I used, and because I had a unique password there, nothing else was at risk. Now I use a password manager and it auto-fills everything, so it's actually easier than remembering one password for all sites. I used to think it was a hassle too, but after setting it up, I wonder why I didn't do it sooner.

See all this talk about data breaches, but how often does it really hurt anyone? I've had my info leaked a couple times, nothing ever came of it. Password managers sound good until they don't work on some site or you forget the master password. Most people reuse passwords and never have issues, so maybe it's not as big a deal as they say. Just seems like more fear mongering to sell more software.
