Bought a $40 joke book and my kids actually laughed at one
I caved and got that "Knock Knock" joke book off Amazon after rolling my eyes at it for months. My 8 year old snorted on the third pun and now I'm the dinner table hero. Has anyone else had surprising luck with a pricier dad joke source?

Wait did you see that one Reddit thread where a guy spent $50 on a joke book and his kid ended up bringing it to show and tell? That's wild. My brother got the same one and now his 6 year old walks around going "knock knock, who's there, banana" nonstop.

Kinda feels like one of those things that gets blown out of proportion online though. Kids have been telling terrible knock-knock jokes since forever, it's not exactly newsworthy.
