Watched my uncle try the same thing at a butterfly garden in OKC last summer. He waited like ten minutes for a good crowd to build up, then hit them with some line about how the butterflies were "social" because they always hang out in groups. Got total silence. One lady just stared at him and walked away. He still brings it up at every family dinner like it was his best work. Honestly the bad ones are funnier than the good ones sometimes.
