TIL my dad joke book from 2003 still lands better than anything I find on Reddit now
Back when I started doing these at family BBQs around 2008, I had one spiral notebook with maybe 40 jokes and I'd rotate the same 12 every summer. Now I scroll through 3 apps before a cookout and still end up telling the one about the scarecrow winning an award because it was outstanding in his field. Anyone else notice the old groaners get bigger laughs than the new stuff?
