My buddy the barista said most people grind way too fine
He watched me do my morning pour over and goes 'you're choking the bed, go 3 clicks coarser' and the difference was immediate, anyone else get stuck in the too fine trap?

My friend was making espresso for months with a grind so fine it took forever to drip through. One coarser setting fixed everything and he felt like an idiot for not trying it sooner.
