PSA: The barista at Java Joe's in Tucson fixed my home pour over in 2 minutes
I was at Java Joe's on 4th Ave last Saturday and mentioned my home pour over always tastes weak. The barista asked what grind I use, and when I said pre ground from the store, she said that was the problem and told me to get a cheap burr grinder instead. I grabbed a $40 one at Target that afternoon and my coffee has been way better since, has anyone else had a barista solve a home problem like that?

I used to roll my eyes at the whole grind your own beans thing, figured it was just coffee snob talk to sell gadgets. Then my sister gave me her old burr grinder and the difference in my french press was nuts, like a totally different drink. That barista at Java Joe's did you a solid.
