Spent $180 on a hand grinder and my coffee got worse for a whole month
Bought a Baratza hand grinder after my $30 blade grinder died, thinking it would fix everything about my morning cup. Turns out I was grinding way too fine for my drip maker, so for about 3 weeks my coffee tasted like wet cardboard and I almost went back to the blade thing. Finally looked up a grind chart, set it to medium, and it was fine. Anyone else drop real money on gear and then realize the problem was you the whole time?

Isn't a grinder that needs a chart just a fancy way to blame yourself for bad coffee?
