Spilled my whole mug of coffee on my desk this morning and it taught me something about my pour over technique

I was rushing through my morning routine around 7:30, trying to get the kids out the door, and I knocked over my full mug of pour over coffee right onto my keyboard and a stack of mail. The coffee had this weird sediment at the bottom that I usually just ignore, but after cleaning up I realized my grind has been way too uneven lately. I bought a new burr grinder last week and I think I just had it set wrong because the water was flowing through too fast. Has anyone else had to relearn their whole pour over setup after changing one piece of gear?
