The $300 pour-over kettle I laughed at is now my favorite thing

Back in 2021 I thought spending that much on a gooseneck kettle was pure nonsense, but my cheap one kept dumping water everywhere and burning my hand. Finally grabbed a temperature controlled one from a shop in Portland and it honestly changed my whole morning routine. The slow pour makes a huge difference in how my light roasts taste, and I stopped scalding the coffee grounds. Anyone else finally cave on a pricey coffee gadget that actually earned its keep?
