Took 2 years to realize I was grinding beans too early

Used to grind a whole bag on Sunday for the week. Tasted flat by Tuesday but figured that's just how coffee goes. Then my buddy came over and watched me pour beans into the grinder. He asked why I was prepping for the apocalypse. Grinding fresh each morning for 3 days now, huge difference. Anyone else make a simple change that took forever to notice?

Weekend batch grinding actually works fine for me. The flavor difference is tiny compared to just using a decent grinder setting. Half the people I know can't tell the difference in a blind test.
