Got a cheap whiteboard for quick sketches and it changed everything

I kept grabbing scrap paper to doodle ideas but then losing them in the pile on my desk. So last Tuesday I picked up a small 12x18 inch whiteboard for like 8 bucks at a dollar store. Now I can sketch out rough ideas for my daily doodles and erase them when I'm done. It saves me from going through a whole notebook every month. Has anyone else tried using a whiteboard for quick concept sketches instead of paper?

My doodles somehow look even worse on a whiteboard than they do on paper.

Oh trust me, my whiteboard doodles look like a toddler on espresso. Paper at least hides some of the shame.

My 12x14 inch whiteboard was $6 at a local grocery store and it's been a lifesaver for the same reason. @jesse_williams62 you're not alone, my whiteboard sketches look like a kindergartner's secret language. But hey, at least I can wipe the evidence clean in seconds instead of tearing out notebook pages.
