My coffee doodle turned into a giant mess today
I was sketching a little caffeine molecule in my notebook during my break at the Roasting Plant Cafe downtown. The pen I was using exploded inside my bag and turned everything into a blue abstract splatter. Has anyone else had a favorite pen just give up on them out of nowhere like that?

Oh man, I feel your pain! Had a Pilot G2 blow up in my jacket pocket last winter and that ink got into everything, stained the lining so bad I had to toss the whole coat. I was so mad because those pens write smooth as butter and then they just betray you like that.

My buddy Jake had a Sharpie explode in his cargo pocket last summer and it looked like he got stabbed with a blue dye bomb. He walked around with that stain for weeks until his girlfriend finally bleached it out. Worst part was the pen was almost brand new too, just gave up for no reason.
