My stick figure people actually look like people now after 3 months of sketching every day

I started doodling during lunch at work back in April, just random stick figures and blobs. Yesterday I looked at a drawing I did this morning and compared it to one from my first week and I couldn't believe the difference. The arms and legs are actually connected right and the heads aren't shaped like potatoes anymore lol. I think just making myself draw something every single day, even if it's garbage, is what made it click. Has anyone else seen a big jump in their doodles after a specific amount of daily practice?

Stick figure people are already people.

Wait, you're saying stick figures count as people? Like, fully? I used to think they were just symbols or placeholders, nothing real. But @lucasjackson, you kind of got me thinking about it. If a stick figure can make me feel amused or frustrated when it's drawn badly, maybe that counts as being a person in some way. It's like the line between art and actual people is blurrier than I thought. You changed my mind, I'm not gonna lie. Respect for making me see it differently.

Nah I gotta push back here @fiona_murphy. A stick figure can make you feel something but that doesn't make it a person, it just means you're projecting human traits onto a few lines. People have actual thoughts and feelings, a stick figure is just a drawing that relies on our imagination to seem alive.
