My cat hit 20 years old today and I am still in shock
My old man Simba turned 20 this morning and I counted his birthday treats 3 times because I could NOT believe it. Has anyone else had a pet that surprised you by living way longer than you ever expected?

What's the secret - is he eating the same cheap kibble I've been eating for years? Cause if that's the ticket to 20 years, my digestive system is gonna be seriously disappointed. I keep my cat alive on a strict diet of whatever's on sale and the occasional betrayal of my own leftovers. He's 12 now and still going strong on bargain bin wet food and my desperation. Maybe I should start eating what he eats and see if I get half that luck.
