My cat knocked my 2 pound dumbbell off the shelf at 5:40am and now I need a new lamp
I was still half asleep in my apartment in Portland when I heard the crash, and she was just sitting there next to the broken glass like nothing happened. Has anyone else had a pet turn a morning workout into a cleanup job, and how do you keep them off the shelves?

Wrapping the shelf edge in double sided tape actually works pretty well since they hate the sticky feeling on their paws. Just make sure to press it down flat so nothing else sticks to it.
