My cat knocked over my 65 inch TV this morning and shattered the screen
He was chasing a fly and full-on sprinted into the stand, now I'm stuck watching everything on my laptop while I figure out if a repair quote for $400 is worth it or if I should just buy a new one, has anyone else dealt with pet damage like this?

Did you have some kind of warranty or insurance on it? It feels like everything in a house is just waiting to break these days, people spend all this money on nice stuff and one little thing wipes it out. For $400 I'd probably just buy a new one honestly, repair quotes can balloon once they get in there and find more damage. Seems like nobody makes anything that can actually survive a normal bump or a pet anymore, just cheap thin junk.

Nah, warranty probably ran out six months ago like they always do. But honestly, the real question is what kind of TV was it? If it's some basic budget model, $400 toward a new one is the smarter move, but if it's a high-end OLED that was way more, the repair might still be worth it. What's the actual brand and model?
