My cat staged a full protest in the cereal aisle at Target
He saw a box with a cartoon tiger, yowled like he'd been betrayed, and then sat directly in front of it so nobody could pass. Anyone else have a pet with strong opinions on grocery store mascots?

That "slow blink of total disgust" from @the_hayden's cat is a whole mood. My old cat would give the same look to any dog food commercial on TV. They really do take this stuff personally.

Totally get it. My dog once saw a bag of dog food with a happy looking lab on it and just started whining at it in the store. He acted like the picture was lying to him.

Oh my god, is this a cat thing? My cat, Binx, once saw a bag of Meow Mix with a cat on it at the pet store and did the same dramatic slow blink of total disgust. He then turned his back to the bag and refused to look at it the whole way home, like it personally offended him. I had to buy a different brand without a cat on the package to avoid the silent treatment.
