My cat's morning routine changed completely after we moved apartments
At our old place near the park, my cat would wake me up at 6 AM sharp every day by knocking things off the nightstand. Ever since we moved to a third-floor unit six months ago with no bird access, she sleeps until 10 and just stares out the window like a little statue. Has anyone else's pet suddenly lost their chaos after a big change in scenery?

Honestly never thought a cat would miss birds that much but your story totally flipped my view. I used to think cats just adapt anywhere as long as they have food and a warm spot. Then my buddy moved his two cats from a house with a big yard to a tiny studio and they went from wild to weirdly mellow. They just sit on the sill like yours do, no more knocking lamps over or zooming around at 3 AM. It's wild how a change in scenery can just dial down their whole personality like that.

One of my friends put up one of those window bird feeders by the kitchen window and it was a game changer for their cat. They live on the fourth floor in the city and the cat went from totally bored to actually perking up again. I think sometimes they just need that little bit of life happening outside even if it's not a whole park full of birds. My own cat got super lazy after we moved too and getting a couple of those cheap suction cup feeders totally brought back her chaotic energy lol. It's honestly wild how much difference a few pigeons and sparrows can make for their whole mood.
