My cat's new obsession is the bathroom sink

This morning, I had to choose between letting my cat, Mango, keep playing with the dripping faucet or turning it off and dealing with his sad meows. I let it drip for about 15 minutes while I brushed my teeth. He kept trying to catch each drop with his paw and ended up getting his whole head wet. He looked so confused and soggy when he finally gave up. What weird new spot has your pet decided is their favorite?

The part about Mango getting his whole head wet is so real. My dog, Beans, has decided the best seat in the house is directly on top of the floor air vent when the heat is on. He just sits there, fur blowing everywhere, looking like a weird little rug. I'm pretty sure he thinks he's discovered a magic portal. I have to step over him constantly, which is my own fault for letting a chihuahua claim the thermostat.

Wait, the mental picture of @the_susan's dog as a weird little rug is killing me. That's a whole new level of inconvenient pet parking, right on the climate control. They really do pick the spots that cause the most chaos.
