My dog lost her mind at the PetSmart in Reno over the automatic door
Took my 2 year old corgi, Biscuit, to the PetSmart on South Virginia in Reno yesterday for a nail trim. The second we walked in, she froze and just stared at those automatic sliding doors like they were alive. Every time they opened, she did this little hop and then looked back at me like I was supposed to explain it. This went on for a solid 10 minutes while people stepped around us and one guy laughed and took a video. She finally got brave, sniffed the door edge, and then the thing opened again and she bolted behind a display of dog beds. We never made it to the nail trim and she has been side eyeing every door in our house since. Is this a corgi thing or did I just break my dog?
Wait why do they all do that? Mine did the same thing at the vet last month, lost her whole mind over the sliding door and then refused to walk past it. Now she stares down our back door like it's gonna attack her.
