Sat on the floor while my dog ate breakfast and noticed something weird

My golden retriever, Gus, always takes three bites then looks at me before finishing his bowl, so yesterday I sat down beside him in the kitchen to see what he was doing. He nudged the bowl closer to me with his nose and whined until I pretended to take a bite, then he scarfed the rest down happy as can be. Does your pet do anything that makes you think they're trying to share a meal with you?

Dude that is literally adorable. My cat does this exact same thing with treats. She'll take one out of her dish, drop it right in front of me, then stare until I act like I'm eating it before she'll actually eat it herself. It's like she's making sure I'm fed before she digs in. Gus sounds like a good boy, dogs are just something else with that loyalty.
