Shoutout to the treat puzzle I nearly returned
I was this close to sending back that treat puzzle for my beagle, mostly because she ignored it for a solid week. Then yesterday she figured out she could flip it over with her nose and I thought I wasted 25 bucks. But I tried wedging a smear of peanut butter under the top layer, and that changed everything. She spent a whole hour working through each compartment instead of barking at me. Now I'm wondering if I just needed to hide it under a towel for her to get interested. Has anyone else had a pet that suddenly clicks with a toy after you tried a certain trick? I'm curious if the slow start is normal or if my dog is just weird.

Tried rubbing a bit of bacon grease on the lid once, and my cat suddenly acted like the puzzle was a five-star restaurant.
