Tried a puzzle feeder for my husky and now my living room is a crime scene

I bought this 'advanced' puzzle ball you fill with kibble, thinking it would keep Luna busy for 30 minutes. She figured it out in under 60 seconds, then slammed it against the coffee table until it exploded, scattering bits of plastic and dog food across the entire carpet. So, are puzzle toys a legit brain game or just fancy destruction devices waiting to happen?

Ever seen a dog treat a puzzle toy like a personal enemy? My shepherd mix does the same thing. He doesn't solve them, he just finds the weakest point and applies maximum force. I've had good luck with the super heavy rubber ones, but anything with plastic parts is doomed. It's less brain game and more a test of engineering against pure chaos.

Remember my friend's husky? He got a puzzle toy and just chewed the corner off to dump the treats. Honestly @alice_hart, some dogs see puzzles and just skip to the brute force step. It's like they're playing a totally different game.
