Can we talk about the automatic doors at the grocery store that open way too slow

Stood there for a full 7 seconds yesterday at the Market Basket on Main Street just waiting for the sliding doors to decide if they wanted to let me in or not, has anyone else noticed these things getting slower or am I just impatient now?

Honestly I used to think people were just being dramatic about this but then I got stuck at the Stop & Shop doors for like ten seconds last week with my cart halfway in and now I get it. They definitely programmed these things to go at turtle speed on purpose or something.
