Shoutout to the cashier at Kroger who made me rethink my whole grocery route

Last Thursday I was in the express lane at the Kroger on 5th and Maple, and this cashier just starts scanning my stuff without even looking up. I always go at 11pm to avoid people, but she rang up my 14 items and bagged them faster than I could load the belt. On one hand I loved it, no small talk, just in and out. On the other hand it felt kinda cold, like I'm just another cart to push through. Has anyone else had that moment where you realize you actually miss the slow chatty cashier even though you thought you hated them?
