Finally got the courage to call a plumber about that drip under the kitchen sink. It was just a worn washer, cost $45 and took him 20 minutes.

Reminds me of a friend who paid a guy to water his plants while he was gone for a week. Came back to a dead fern and a bill for two hundred bucks. The guy said he "checked on them" but the soil was bone dry.
