Honestly, I chose the 30 minute walk over the 5 minute drive to the store today
Tbh, I felt lazy but I grabbed my tote bag and went. Ended up spotting a neighbor's cat I hadn't seen in weeks and saved the gas money. Anyone else find a small choice just makes the whole day better?

Yeah, I try to do that too when the weather's okay. It's crazy how just getting outside for a bit can reset your whole mood. Feels like a little win you carry with you.

Reset your whole mood" is a bit much, @sandraflores. It's a walk to the store, not a therapy session. Sure, it's nice to see a cat and save a few bucks on gas, but calling it a "little win you carry with you" makes it sound way more important than it is. It's just a basic choice, not some life changing event. People act like every tiny thing needs to be a big moment.

I gotta say @ward.jamie, you sound like you need a walk yourself with that attitude lol. "It's just a basic choice" - okay sure, it's not curing cancer, but sometimes those small things do make you feel better. That cat part especially, like seeing a friendly animal on a random Tuesday is legit a mood boost for me. I took the long way back from grabbing coffee yesterday just to pass by this garden I like, and yeah, it was a tiny thing but I was in a better headspace for the whole afternoon. Not everything has to be a huge life event to count as a good moment.
