Hot take: meal prepping on Sunday actually saved my week

I rolled my eyes hard when my sister in law suggested I do Sunday meal prep. I mean I got 3 kids under 7, ain't nobody got time for that. But last week I actually tried it after a chaotic Tuesday where I fed them cereal for dinner. Prep took like 90 minutes and I swear Wednesday through Friday dinner was actually calm for once. Anyone else find meal prepping killed their dinner stress? Or am I just late to the obvious?

Honestly I thought meal prepping was just for people with their life together. Then I did it and realized I still ate cold leftovers standing over the sink, so maybe I'm the problem. Tbh it did help with the chaos though.

One time I prepped a whole week of Greek chicken bowls and by Wednesday I just ate a sleeve of saltines and called it dinner. Probably defeats the whole purpose but hey, at least I had the containers ready.
