I finally fell for that expensive 'natural' flea treatment for my dog
Wasted $45 on some essential oil based drops from a boutique pet store that did absolutely nothing, and then spent another $60 at the vet after my dog ended up with a full blown infestation because I trusted the hype over science, has anyone else been burned by those 'chemical free' pet products?

The same tea tree oil stuff gave my cat chemical burns and a $200 vet bill.

Haha yeah I tried that stuff once and ended up giving myself what looked like a chemical peel on my face. Guess we both learned the hard way that tea tree oil is basically napalm in a bottle.

...and @juliashah already knows the vet trip aftermath, my buddy tried that rosemary mint spray for his lab and the dog ended up with a rash so bad he thought it was mange, had to shell out for steroids and a skin scrape test on top of buying the real flea meds anyway.
