I saw three posts today that missed the whole point of a 'small win'

A 'small win' is supposed to be something you actually did, like 'I walked my dog for 20 minutes' or 'I made my bed', not just a random good thing that happened to you, and it's frustrating because it makes the whole thread feel less helpful.

My own small win was finally understanding this after posting about my cat napping.

Oh man, my friend had the same thing happen! He kept posting these super serious work thoughts, but a picture of his dog sleeping got way more replies. It really shows people just want a little slice of normal life sometimes.

Last year I counted my own posts for a month. Every single photo of my garden bench got more likes than any link to a news article I shared. It feels like we're all so tired of the big, loud world online that quiet, real moments are like a relief. We're looking for proof that simple, good things still exist. That sleeping dog photo isn't just cute, it's a tiny anchor in a really noisy day.
