I swore off meal prepping on Sundays, until a $12 rice cooker changed my mind last week
For two years I refused to meal prep on Sundays because I hated standing in the kitchen for 4 hours and eating sad chicken by Wednesday. Last week my roommate left her $12 rice cooker on the counter and I threw in some rice, frozen veggies, and a can of beans just to stop myself from ordering pizza. That one pot made 5 lunches and I actually ate all of them by Friday, which never happens. I still think big Sunday cooking marathons are a waste of a day off, but a single pot of rice is weirdly doable. Anyone else have a tiny kitchen shortcut that made a chore feel less awful?
