Just found out that making your bed can actually help you sleep better
I was reading a short article on a health website this morning and it said a study found people who make their bed each morning are 19% more likely to get a good night's sleep. I always thought it was just about having a tidy room, but the article said it helps your brain link your bed with sleep only, not other activities. I started doing it this week and I think it's working. Has anyone else tried this and noticed a difference?

Yeah, I'm with robert_lopez64 on this. My unmade bed has never kept me awake, but maybe it's just one less thing to feel bad about not doing.

My friend Sarah swore by this after she started having trouble falling asleep. She said her room felt like a messy office with her laptop and clothes all over the bed. Making it every morning became her little reset button. She told me it was weird, but climbing into a neat bed at night really did make her brain switch off faster. She sleeps way better now, even on her old couch of a mattress.

Honestly, I've never bought into that. My bed is always a mess and I sleep like a rock. For me, it feels like one more chore to do in the morning. I think the whole thing gets overblown. If you need a perfect bed to sleep, maybe the problem is something else, like stress or your mattress. I just don't see how wrinkled sheets change your brain that much.
