Spent $80 on a fancy compost tumbler. Just use a pile.
Bought that tumbling composter from the garden center 6 months ago. Cranky little thing. Hard to turn. Got all jammed up. My neighbor just tosses stuff in a corner of his yard. Rich black dirt in 4 months. Mine? Half-rotten slop. Felt like an idiot. Anyone else drop cash on a gadget that did worse than the simple way?

Totally agree, same thing happened to me. Ended up spending hours trying to fix the jammed tumbler, then just gave up and built a simple wire cage in the backyard. My open pile does way better for zero effort.
