Bought a "season pass" to a local car wash and it was a straight up scam

So I paid $120 back in March for this unlimited car wash pass at a place off Route 9, and the first two weeks were great. Then suddenly every time I rolled up, the machine was "down for maintenance" or they said my pass wasn't scanning. I went maybe 8 times total across 4 months, and each visit I had to argue with the cashier just to get a rinse cycle that barely touched the salt on my car. The kicker is they closed shop last Tuesday with no warning, no refund, nothing. I checked their Facebook and they deleted the page. I wish I'd just paid the $8 per wash and called it a day. Has anyone else gotten burned by those subscription car wash places, or do some of them actually hold up?
