Had a coupon for 50% off at Bed Bath & Beyond that wouldn't scan at the register
I was buying a new comforter set at the Target on 5th Avenue last Tuesday and the cashier told me my digital coupon was expired even though I had just pulled it up that morning. After 10 minutes of back and forth she finally called a manager who manually applied the discount. Has anyone else had trouble with those app only coupons not working in store?

Maybe the registers have a secret life and just enjoy messing with us on purpose by rejecting coupons. I mean, it's like they wait until you're in the checkout line to decide today's the day they stop cooperating. At least you guys got the discount eventually, could've been worse - you could've been that guy who ends up on the news for a coupon meltdown.

Ran into the exact same thing at a Home Depot with their app coupon for light bulbs last month. Scanned fine on my phone but their register kept saying invalid, took three employees and a call to customer service to get it sorted out. They eventually just gave me the discount anyway but it was like an ordeal I didn't need on a Tuesday afternoon.
