My aunt kept bragging about saving $50 with a coupon book and I finally saw her trick

She used a coupon for a buy one get one free on a pizza place near us in Phoenix, but the place was already running a BOGO special on Tuesdays, so she stacked it to get two pizzas for free. Has anyone else caught relatives double dipping on deals that don't actually stack and it's just the regular sale?

My uncle tried that at a car wash here in Tempe. Just ended up confusing the poor kid at the register for like 10 minutes.

Is finding a loophole in a coupon really that deep though? Like your aunt saved $50, who cares if it was technically a double dip or whatever. The register kid probably didn't give a crap either, half the time they just scan whatever and move on. People get so worked up about this stuff like it's some big moral crisis but it's just pizza at the end of the day. Let the lady enjoy her free pizza and move on with your life.
