Serious question, the butcher at H Mart in Fort Lee said to skip the pre-cut stew meat, was he right?
I was at the H Mart in Fort Lee on Saturday and the butcher told me the pre-cut stew meat packs sit out longer and cost $2 more per pound than buying a chuck roast and cubing it myself. I bought the roast, cut it up at home, and the stew came out way more tender than the packs I used to grab for years. Has anyone else gotten a tip like that from a store worker that actually panned out, or did I just get lucky with this one guy?
