Swapped from weekly grocery runs to buying bulk at Restaurant Depot in Phoenix 6 months back

I used to hit the regular store every Sunday and blow $200 on stuff I didn't need, but after splitting a 50-pound bag of rice with a neighbor I started saving like $40 a week. Anyone else try buying from a wholesale place for everyday stuff?

Pro tip: freezer space is your best friend with bulk buys like that lol

Absolutely agree with you there. I picked up a half cow last fall and had to clear out a whole shelf in my chest freezer just to make it fit, but it's been worth every single pound so far.
