That $38 coolant hose clamp cost me an engine rebuild wait, sort of
Bought a cheap worm-gear clamp off the shelf at AutoZone in Reno, it sheared on I-80 at 3am, dumped all my coolant, and now I only trust constant-tension clamps from the dealer, has anyone else stopped using those budget clamps after a roadside failure?
