Vent: I was torquing injector lines wrong for months

I kept getting minor leaks on a 6.7 Powerstroke rebuild, and a guy at the parts counter in Billings asked if I was using a crowsfoot. I was just using a standard wrench and not accounting for the offset, so my torque was way off. Anyone have a favorite crowsfoot set they use for tight spots?

Seriously, how much torque can those lines actually need? A little leak doesn't mean the world's ending, just snug it up good. I've seen guys run stuff finger tight for years without a problem.

Been there, man. Snapped a line on my old Duramax doing the same thing. Bought a cheap set of crowsfoot wrenches from the parts store and it was a total game changer. You really need that click on the torque wrench to know it's right, and the offset throws everything off. A good snug fit with the right tool beats guessing any day.

My torque wrench says 18 foot-pounds.
