Dropped $180 on a used Wacom screen tablet from a guy in Phoenix, saved my wrist and my workflow
I do digital art on the side and was getting serious wrist pain from my old tablet with no screen, so last March I grabbed a used Wacom Cintiq 13HD off a guy on Craigslist in Phoenix for $180. I almost passed because the screen had a small scratch, but he let me test it with my laptop and it worked fine. Having the screen right under the pen changed everything for me, no more disconnect between my hand and the cursor, and my coloring time dropped a lot. Your mileage may vary but if you're fighting that hand eye thing, a used screen tablet is worth a look. Anyone else make the jump from a plain tablet to a screen one, was it as big a deal for you or just me?
