Hit 1000 sales on my Etsy shop this morning and I'm still shook

I started selling my digital art prints two years ago just to clear out my hard drive, and somehow I crossed the 1000 order mark today. The weirdest part was the 999th sale was a custom portrait of someone's pug named Bubbles. Anyone else have a milestone that crept up on you out of nowhere?

I had almost the exact same thing happen with my 500th order - it was a custom portrait of someone's hamster dressed like a pirate. @scott.jana is right, the weird orders really do sneak up on you, and they end up being the ones that stick in your memory the most. Once you hit that milestone, I found it helped to create a simple spreadsheet tracking what types of customs sell best, just so you know where to focus your time. Have you noticed any patterns in your most popular digital prints yet?

The most meaningful moments always come from the least expected places. It's like how you'll spend HOURS planning a vacation but end up remembering the random detour you took because of a flat tire. Dog portraits, hamster pirates, it's all just life reminding us that the good stuff doesn't follow a plan. The universe doesn't care about your milestones, it just throws weird curveballs and lets you figure out what matters. That's the whole trick, really.
