Shoutout to the eyedropper tool for matching skin tones
I spent 3 hours last week trying to blend a portrait's face and neck in Procreate, every guess looked off. Finally I sampled the shadow area under the jaw with the eyedropper and used that for the transition, it clicked instantly. Anyone else use color sampling from the darkest part of the skin instead of guessing tints?

Ever notice how painters do the same thing, picking the darkest shade to make everything else look right? It's like finding the bottom note in a chord, everything just snaps into place after that.
