Spent 4 hours trying to fix a brush lag in Procreate before I realized it was just my iPad case overheating the thing
Was about to throw my tablet across the room until I popped off the case and suddenly my strokes were smooth as butter - has anyone else had random hardware stuff wreck their digital art workflow for way longer than it should have?

Flipped my iPad over one time and felt the heat coming off the back like a space heater. Those thick rubber cases trap everything and the processor just cooks itself. I started taking my case off every time I work for more than ten minutes now, especially with layers above 20. Also make sure you don't charge it while you're drawing cause that makes the heat even worse. Sometimes the simplest fixes are right in front of you but you gotta feel the physical temp before you think to check that stuff.
