Spent 4 hours trying to fix a layer gap in my digital painting before I realized I just had the wrong brush opacity set
I was zoomed in at 400% tweaking dithering and blending modes for way too long and my friend just looked over and said 'uh, your brush is at 20% opacity' and that was it.

Isn't it always something that simple that gets you though? I've done that exact thing, spent an hour blending two colors that just wouldn't work together, then realized I had my pen pressure curve set all wrong from a different program... makes me wanna scream. You feel so smart zoomed in like that, but really you're just missing the obvious right in front of your face. At least your friend caught it, mine usually just watches me rage quietly until I figure it out myself.

Wait wait wait, you're telling me your friends just WATCH you struggle? That's WILD. I'd be throwing my stylus at them until they helped.
