Vent: Had to pick between 50 layers of fur or a glowing sword for my fantasy character
I spent three hours on this digital painting and got stuck on the final detail. My friend said 'just give him a cool sword,' but I went with the insane fur texture instead. Has anyone else ever wasted a whole evening on one tiny artistic choice?

An hour on a buckle? Try a whole afternoon. It's not just the buckle itself. You've got to get the stitching on the belt strap perfect, the dye even, and the edge finish smooth. That's before you even start on the buckle's polish and fit. It's a lot of small steps that add up.
