Deleted 85% of my old photos in one sitting using the 'just now' search trick
I had 12,000 screenshots and blurry shots clogging up my phone for over a year. Found out that searching "screenshot" in my gallery and mass deleting by date cut my clutter in three hours. Has anyone else tried filtering by file type before just scrolling endlessly?

Deleting ALL your screenshots is a TERRIBLE idea honestly. I got burned hard by that mistake last year. I deleted everything labeled "screenshot" only to realize later that a bunch of those were my saved order confirmations and tracking numbers for things I bought online. Plus some of my screenshots were references for work projects that I forgot about until it was WAY too late. That "just now" trick is fine for old blurry photos but you need to ACTUALLY LOOK at what you're deleting before you nuke everything. Sorting by file type sounds like a great way to accidentally erase stuff you'll need next week.

Wait, did you say the same thing happened to me or did I just block that out? I literally deleted a folder of "screenshots" last month and then spent an hour trying to find my concert ticket confirmation that I swore I saved somewhere. Turned out that screenshot was buried in my trash folder and I had to rescue it like a digital dumpster dive. I feel your pain, I really do.
