Burned my garlic bread last Tuesday and saved dinner with a bag of frozen peas
I was rushing to get pasta on the table before soccer practice and the garlic bread came out black as coal, so I tossed a bag of frozen peas with olive oil and salt into the microwave for 2 minutes to stretch the meal, has anyone else found a weird emergency side dish that saved a messed up dinner?

Nah hold on, microwaved peas dont really stay firm either tbh. But its fine cause theyre small so you dont notice the texture as much. I do the same thing with canned corn sometimes.

Wait, you microwaved frozen peas and that saved dinner? That's actually kind of genius since peas don't get all mushy like other frozen veggies do.
