I finally stopped buying pre-shredded cheese and it saves me more than I thought

Used to grab those bags of shredded cheddar because it was easy. But last month I noticed my nachos were coming out clumpy and weird. Turns out the anti-caking stuff they put on shredded cheese messes with melting. Bought a block of Tillamook for about the same price and grated it myself. Takes maybe 30 seconds more but the texture is way better. Plus I started buying larger blocks and freezing half, which actually cuts down my grocery trips. Has anyone else switched and noticed a difference?
