TIL my local grocery store in Portland marks down meat at 7am not 7pm

I showed up early to grab stuff for meal prep and noticed butcher was slapping half-price stickers on packs right at opening. Do y'all have a specific time your store does markdowns or is it random based on the manager?

Slapping half-price stickers on packs right at opening." Sounds like my local store's butcher moonlights as a ninja. I gotta roll in at 6:30 AM just to catch the ground beef discount before the coupon clippers swarm. It's a whole different game out here, man.
